A very rare King Quartz watch in great condition. Stunning Brushed linen Beige White sunburst dial. New battery installed. Watch is functioning well. Fascinating fact is that second-hand hits the indice markers all around spot on, a good number of high priced ETA swiss quartz watches fail to do that. Motto of these Seiko quartz watches from '70s was Precision and high quality finishing which they highly showcase without any exception. At 50,000 yen to 60,000 these watches were still expensive than most of the luxury watches of that time, so they are really well made. QC of Seiko was far ahead in that era. The slim, elegant case has sharp edges, insane brushing and mirror finishing. A great daily driver given the high accuracy. Amazing condition at 47 year old. Sunlight brings out most of its beauty. Handling it, I can definitely guarantee this is superior to modern watches of the same price zone. The single "roofed" dial marking on dial indicates a single quartz crystal was used on this watch. Housed by a well enginereed sophisticated caliber 0853 movement consisting 9 jewels which is highly jeweled for a quartz movement. Kanji(Japanese) date highly complements the dial. It has both English and Japanese (Kanji) day options. They're only released in Japan, JDM model.
